THE PALOS VERDES ASSEMBLY DRESS CODE

MEMBERS' DRESS GUIDELINES

Gentlemen’s Proper Attire for Assembly Activities

The following are NOT acceptable attire for any of our Assembly activities:

Tennis shoes, white socks, flip flop sandals.  If your clothing is inappropriate you may be sent home and will be marked absent!

 

Dressy: Suit and tie or Sports Jacket, dress slacks and tie
Dress shoes and dark socks

Semi-Formal: Dark suit with tie or Tuxedo; dress shoes and dark socks

Theme Dances: Either theme specific or dressy attire

       (Jeans are allowed for Theme Dances only)

 

Ladies Proper Attire for Assembly Activities

The following are NOT acceptable attire for any of our Assembly activities:

No bare midriff tops or dresses; no strapless tops or dresses, no backless tops or dresses to include one shoulder tops or dresses.  You are required to have 2 straps (one on each shoulder) on all tops and dresses. Dresses and skirts may NOT be more than 4 inches above the knee. If your dress does not meet Assembly dress guidelines, you will be asked to wear a loaner jacket and/or loaner shorts. Tennis shoes, flip flops, sandals, mules and strapless shoes ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.   If your clothing is inappropriate you may be sent home and will be marked absent!

 

Dressy: Dress or skirt with blouse or sweater; dress shoes for dancing

Semi-Formal: Cocktail or long dress or skirt with blouse or sweater; dress shoes for dancing

Theme Dances: Either theme specific or dressy attire

(Jeans are allowed for Theme Dances only)

Most Dances and the Membership Tea require Dressy Attire!
